We’re a father and son wedding photography team based near Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. We work together at every wedding, so you always have two photographers as standard. Our style is relaxed and documentary, capturing your day as it really happens so your gallery feels just like the day itself.

How it all started

Photography has always run in the family. Steve was a wedding photographer many years ago, until the arrival of two children (Alex and his sister Hannah) meant choosing between the job he loved and a steady income. He chose the steady income, but the camera never really went away.

Alex spent years as a personal trainer and outdoor instructor, but has had a passion for photography for as long as he can remember. When the chance came to bring both of our passions together, the choice was obvious. These days you’ll rarely see either of us without a camera, much to the frustration of the mum and wife of the family!

Two of us, two angles

Having two photographers means nothing is missed. Alex’s style is light, airy and vibrant, and he’ll happily chase the last of the golden hour light for your portraits. Steve’s style is classic and natural, moving quietly among your guests to catch the hugs, the laughter and the real atmosphere of the day. Together we tell the whole story, not just the parts in front of the camera.

What it’s like having us there

We’re relaxed, friendly people and we’ll always bring a smile to the day, even in the rain. We blend into the background and gently guide when needed, so you can enjoy your day while we take care of the memories. We’d love to be more than just your photographers, so before the wedding we’ll get to know you on a call, talk through the moments that matter most to you, and arrange a final call closer to the time so you know exactly what to expect.

Beyond weddings

Weddings are our main focus, but we also photograph pets, commercial and corporate work, real estate, sport, events and portraits, so no job is too big or too small.
